I had been looking for a position in a reputable property tax firm that was right for me, my background and my skill set. Lo and behold, I found the right fit, after careful analysis, in Industrial Tax Consulting, Houston. 

My background as a practice administrator previously overseeing more than a dozen employees and being instrumental in assisting with the preparation and submission of State Tax Appeals in over 50 Texas counties in addition to providing research of assessment values rendered me an ideal candidate for what ITC was looking for.

I am thrilled to have joined ITC as a property tax analyst. This position will afford me to expand my already considerable experience in a variety of fields. Not only am I used to being a team player I am also self-motivated to thoroughly research a client’s case to uncover any detail that can provide a tax advantage. 

My previous inclinations included stints as a general manager of a company which prepared me to deal with and understand every aspect of running a business to being a property administrator in another to having been a partner in my own business. I discovered my interest and knack for detailed analyses early on in my first exposure to the real world when I worked as an analyst intern.

In my capacity at ITC, I have now come full circle doing what I can do best and I am one step closer to obtaining a property tax consultant license.

After Pre-Med education at San Jacinto College, I attended University of Houston graduating with a BBA degree in Finance where my main focus was Commercial Real Estate. To acquire a Certification in Commercial Real Estate, I completed related courses such as Real Estate Analyses and Valuation, Real Estate Law Principles, Real Estate Development, and Multifamily Investment courses. Becca Pantalion

I made the move to ITC because it presented me with new challenges and the opportunities I was looking for. I also liked ITC’s philosophy and ambition to strive for the best results possible in reaching maximum tax savings for its clients. I thoroughly analyzed and liked their track record in that regard. In my previous career history I developed extensive expertise in real commercial property for clients nationwide which, I am convinced, will make me a valuable asset at ITC. A major component of my responsibilities at ITC will be to investigate, research, collate and analyze facts and evidence to support clients’ cases in appeals. I intend to build on that strength and develop others as I gather more experience.

Professional Qualification

My previous roster of employers allowed me to develop proficiency and skills ranging from acquiring property data, analyzing it and creating evidence prior to submitting documentation following tax protocols for counties in 40 states. I also beta-tested and provided feedback for new software designed for the property tax industry to handle high volume. Additionally, I appealed high-volume, low-value properties with a team portfolio of 15,000 properties for a total revenue invoice of $250,000 in just 10 months. I am about to acquire the Texas Tax Consulting License (June ’22).

I attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Belton, TX and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Political Science with a Spanish minor. My related coursework included constitutional law, international organizations and international political economy. To round it off, I took Spanish for Careers and Advanced Oral Communication for Spanish. Working at ITC as a tax consultant is a natural progression from my previous functions the last of which was as a registered professional appraiser at Prichard & Abbott over the last 10 years.   • Assist with developing valuation models and presentations for protests and appeal hearings. This will include working with clients and third-party experts.
  • Approve tax statements for payments and interact with governmental agencies to make certain liabilities are accounted for and processed timely.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationship from beginning of process through completion of engagement.
  • Interact with business development and marketing efforts for firm.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or similar.
