To support its growth strategy, ITC Property Tax Solutions seeks to hire a Business Development Specialist (BDS), a true hunter role. Our firm has an excellent reputation for helping clients minimize their property tax spending and ensure compliance.
Our target client has already outsourced the handling of their property taxes, and the BDS is tasked with disrupting complacency and leading prospects to explore a relationship with our firm. These are upper five-figure to seven-figure deals, and the decision-making process involves many levels and influencers within the organization. Our company has a wealth of experts who support this function, making this a team-selling role. The BDS is expected to quarterback deals and lead us to victory.
Mastery of prospecting and discovery skills are critical to success and virtual selling. We have developed a comprehensive playbook to help the BDS with prospecting and discovery strategies.
We are looking for entrepreneurial salespeople who can blaze a trail. We have an accountability culture whereby we expect our team to grab control of their success. We are not a hand-holding organization, but we will fully support the business developer in their quest to win accounts.
Our corporate offices are in Houston, Texas, but our clients are located throughout the U.S. The preference is for this role to be based in our corporate office, but we will consider a virtual office for the right candidate.
Compensation is very competitive based upon expertise via a blend of salary, activity bonus, and commissions. Benefits and paid sick/vacation are also included in the compensation package.

The following are the required attributes of candidates:
- 8+ years in B2B complex sales of services
- 4-year college degree

- 5+ years of successfully selling services to financial executives
