A major opportunity for medical and biomedical companies that have locations in Texas which are involved in the aspects of researching, inventing, developing, and commercializing will be allowed to benefit from a new law that takes effect in tax year 2024. This new law will exempt assets used in the manufacturing process of biomedical and medical finished goods and will exempt all forms of inventory as well.
